Most pet products can be shipped "Priority Mail", which means you can get all of your shipping envelopes and boxes FREE from your local post office.  Your client pays the shipping charges, which are automatically calculated and charged at the time of the online purchase.  Your E-mail Invoice serves as your record of the purchase and can be placed in the client's file or entered into your accounts receivable software. Your clinic will receive a copy of the patient's order via E-mail.  Your staff can fill and mail the order the same day. 

Your "merchant account" is what allows you to accept credit cards. You probably already have retail Merchant Accounts for your brick front clinic.  However, you can not use your clinic merchant account or credit card swipe machine for online sales.  Unlike a retail Merchant Account, your Internet Merchant Account will automatically calculate shipping charges for your clients and any applicable sales tax.

We have partnered with PayPal to process all of your sales from your online pet pharmacy to ensure that your internet sales are secure.  Even if your clinic does not accept American Express and Discover, you will be able to accept these cards with our internet merchant account.

On the 1st of each month, you are issued an Accounts Receivable check from Veterinary Website Designers.  Your Accounts Receivable check can be issued to any account or payee you choose.  No untimely auto deductions from your checking account causing overdrafts or fees.  You also receive a monthly "Internet Sales Report" to let you monitor how your site is performing.

How do I keep track of my internet sales?

Each time you make a sale from your online pet pharmacy, your office receives an invoice via a dedicated sales E-mail address.  Your staff fills the order from your inventory, and mails the order to your client.  Our professional Accounting Department processes all of your credit card Sales, Returns & Exchanges for you.  Your "Internet Sales Report" is used to reconcile your invoices and provides your Accountant or Bookkeeper with a complete report of your monthly internet transactions. There is NO monthly minimum service fee for credit card processing.  Internet Merchant Account fees are deducted from your monthly Internet Accounts Receivable check.  You keep 100% of your product mark-up while your website pays for itself.
